One of the important things I have learnt this week… People don’t like to take responsibility for the arguments and without that crucial action, arguments are never resolved…
5 Principles of Effective Communication: 1) Disarm; find something true in what they are saying and point it out. 2) Empathy; Convey how they may be feeling and paraphrase what they told you. 3) I Feel Statement; let them know how this makes you feel. 4) Stroking; make them feel important and let them know what about them you admire. 5) Inquiry; Ask them to let you know more about what they are thinking and feeling.
